At Three D Metals, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Recently, our team had the privilege of participating in the “Stuff the Bus Medina” event, organized by the United Way of Summit & Medina. This event is dedicated to ensuring that students in Medina County have the essential school supplies to start the year strong.
About Stuff the Bus Medina
The Stuff the Bus Medina event is an annual initiative that brings the community together to collect and distribute school supplies to students in need. Local businesses, organizations, and volunteers join forces to pack buses full of backpacks, notebooks, pens, and more, all aimed at giving every child the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.
Three D Metals’ Involvement
Our team at Three D Metals was excited to roll up our sleeves and contribute to this important cause. We gathered donations, packed supplies, and worked alongside other volunteers to ensure everything was ready for distribution.
Our participation in this event reflects our commitment to being a trusted partner in our community, driven by our core values of integrity, quality, and a strong focus on giving back. At Three D Metals, making a positive impact where we live and work is just as important as providing top-quality products and customer service to our customers.
Team Reflections: Making a Difference, One Backpack at a Time
Our team members who participated in Stuff the Bus Medina found the experience both rewarding and inspiring. For Ashley and Carey from Three D Metals, the event was a meaningful way to give back to the community.
Ashley, who is passionate about helping kids, eagerly joined the effort when the opportunity arose. “I love kids, and those in the office know that! Someone offered for me to participate, and I, of course, was interested in helping,” she shared. She found it particularly memorable to see the sheer volume of supplies collected and to work alongside others in the community.
Carey, who has been involved in this event in past years, was equally moved by the collective effort. He was impressed when the final tally of 300 fully packed backpacks was announced, filled with everything from pencils to computer mice.
Both Ashley and Carey believe the event aligns perfectly with Three D Metals’ commitment to community service. “Three D has always been a strong partner in the community, from scholarships to supporting different events,” said Ashley. Carey added, “Stuff the Bus Medina is well aligned with Three D Metals’ commitment to the community. Employees are encouraged to get involved and volunteer in a range of local charities, fundraisers, and community activities.”
As they wrapped up their reflections, both team members expressed gratitude for participating in such a meaningful initiative. “I am just pleased and thankful I was able to help and represent Three D Metals!” Ashley said.
Carey appreciated the event’s widespread support, noting, “It was nice to see how many people volunteered and how many businesses supported it and allowed their employees time away from work to volunteer.”
Making a Lasting Impact on the Community
The Stuff the Bus Medina event goes beyond simply collecting school supplies — it has a profound impact on the entire Medina County community. This year, the event helped equip hundreds of students with the essential tools they need to succeed in the classroom. For many families, back-to-school expenses can be a significant financial burden, and events like this help alleviate that stress, ensuring that every child starts the school year on equal footing.
The supplies collected were distributed to students across Medina County, making a tangible difference in their academic journey. For the students who received these supplies, it’s not just about having the right materials; it’s about the confidence and motivation that come from being prepared for school.
Three D Metals is proud to be part of an initiative that directly supports education and strengthens the community. By participating in Stuff the Bus Medina, we’re helping to build a brighter future for our local students, one filled with opportunity and hope.
Continuing Our Community Commitment
At Three D Metals, we’re more than just a metal supplier — we’re a proud member of the communities we serve. The Stuff the Bus Medina event is just one of the many ways we strive to give back. We look forward to continuing our partnership with organizations like United Way to support local initiatives and make a lasting impact.
