Fabtech 2022 Recap

FABTECH 2022 recap

FABTECH made a strong return in 2022 with in-person attendance back up to pre-pandemic levels. The Three D Metals team was among the 1,200 exhibitors at North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event.

Since Three D Metals is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the team chose to do a 70s-themed booth, complete with themed outfits.

FABTECH 2022 was held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from Nov. 8-10, with some 30,000 in attendance. The Three D representatives this year were Cameron O’Rourke, Chad Castrigano, Jeff Cox, Amy Gesdorf, Tom Marzullo, Josh McCandless, Sarah Vachon and Samantha Fields.

“Three D makes trade shows fun!” said Territory Manager Cameron O’Rourke. “We stood out from the crowd with our 70’s themed booth and clothing honoring our 50 years of excellence. We were able to meet a lot of great people and came away with solid opportunities. I’m looking forward to returning next year with the team at FABTECH.”

The tone at FABTECH was much more energetic and optimistic this year. With the easing of COVID restrictions, attendees and exhibitors alike seemed eager to mingle face-to-face.

“COVID appears to be in our rearview, and I think people are taking the opportunity to get out and get back to business as usual – as much as they can,” said Jeff Cox, vice president of sales and marketing at Three D Metals. “There have been a lot of changes in the marketplace and new products, and people are looking at just getting face-to-face and having that interaction.”

FABTECH 2023 will be held at The McCormick Place in Chicago from Sept. 11-14. We hope to see you there next year!
